Maggie Marcopul Award For Service to the Prevention Field


This annual award is given in memory of Maggie Marcopul who was an extraordinary person and prevention professional and who influenced the prevention field in Pennsylvania for more than three decades.

 

Nominees for this award will have made a significant contribution to the prevention field through 

service, leadership, political advocacy, or education.

 

This award includes tuition and lodging for the CPA Conference in State College (value of $500)

The EPISCenter's Coalition of the Year Award 


The 2014 nomination form is available online on the EPIS website.

The 2014 award will be presented at the CPA conference on 6/11/14.


Community coalitions with a strong understanding of the risk-focused planning process, their identified Risk and Protective factors, and the strategies used to address them in order to achieve population-level public health improvement and positive youth development are encouraged to submit self-nominations.
