Talk To Them At Every Age - They're Listening

DDAP has launched a strategic initiative entitled "Talk To Them At Every Age - They're Listening" at www.ddap.pa.gov/underagedrinking

DDAP took this opportunity, along with support and assistance from members of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, the Penn State EPIS Center, the Parent Panel Advisory Council, the Dauphin County SCA, and the Miracle Group at the Hope Station in Harrisburg, to create two Public Service Announcements (PSAs) which coincide with SAMHSA's "Talk, They Hear You" campaign, encouraging parents and caregivers to talk to their children about alcohol.

Also visit the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) website at www.stopalcoholabuse.gov/statevideos where you will also find videos that have been developed by other states.

“This media campaign is designed to help prevent underage drinking among children ages 9 to 15 by providing their parents and caregivers with the resources they need to properly address this issue with their children early. The campaign website offers customizable radio, television, and print public service announcements; social media tools; and fact sheets, talking points, and other print materials to share with parents and caregivers in the community.”
